Danielle Smith is the former Director of Continuous Improvement & Marketing Administration at Finkl Steel, where she led impactful initiatives to reduce costs, eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and increase quality and market share. She managed all marketing administrative responsibilities—including social media, trade shows, promotions, and association memberships—while also driving continuous improvement strategies across all U.S. locations. With a strong background in sales, Danielle oversaw Inside Sales, Estimating, Outside Sales, and multiple product lines, while also managing inventory structuring and quality processes.

A certified notary and Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt holder, she is deeply committed to operational excellence. Danielle is an engaged industry leader, recently nominated to the FIERF Board & Executive Committee, serves as a mentor within the Women in Forging Community, and currently holds the role of Publicity Chair on the Board of Directors for the Association of Women in the Metal Industries.
